A Muslim wedding in Mississauga
Fatima and Zaid hosted their nikkah in a small mosque off Hurontario, just family and a few close friends, the imam's voice soft and unhurried.
The walima the next evening was a different scale entirely — three hundred guests, a hall draped in deep emerald and ivory, and a long dinner that ended in dancing only the bride's cousins could keep up with.
Photographing a Muslim wedding well means understanding when to step back. The mehr exchange, the dua before the meal, the moments of prayer — these are not photo opportunities, they are the wedding.
A thousand and forty-two final images, two photographers, and one of the most generous families we have ever worked with.
